Check Under Siege at Metacritic for review scores. No demo planned guys. Looks awesome.. Picked this up after seeing many threads of people raving about the game. Ive already tried to trouble shoot the issue but nothing has worked.

Any help is appreciated. After updating my game, I tried to start the game and literally nothing happens. Then I tried to directly through Steam opening Steam and hitting Play rather than just using the shortcut on my desktop. After that didn't work, I tried to launch the game through the Uplay launcher to no avail.

I tried plenty of things to fix this such as re-installing the game and Uplay separately , the classic restart my PC did this one first, duh lol , updating all my drivers, and running the game's exe file as admin. But nothing will work. When I try launching the game in any way possible, my computer thinks for a couple seconds then nothing happens. On the Steam Library page when I hit play, it says it running for a second then it goes right back to the green "Play" button, meaning it's not playing.

I've thrown countless hours into fixing this but nothing is working. I'll take any help or suggestions, literally anything would help. I found a fix that works for me I fixed the problem. When I turned off my Virus Protection program, the game started working again. So the fix is setting Rainbow 6's data file set to ignore on your Virus Protector, or just play with it off lol.

If you've selected to install it again, it may have wiped out everything you previously downloaded.

Could you also try verifying the game files here to see if that will help. I am sure i was loking in correct location but still there is nothing there. I am sure that when i am downloading this game there have to be something in game path even one folder or file, is that right? I dont think so that when i fully downloaded game i have to update full size of it again. And i tryied to verified files but that changed nothing.

Sorry for losing your time but i have to be sure thats not steam problem before i instal sytem again I'll do it when i will have no choice. Thanks for letting us know what happens when you're trying to verify the game files.

Do you have the option to play the game in your Steam library? Also, what happens when you start to download the update? So, i have downloaded this game on this system fully only ones and when it completed the instalation, it showed me that i need to update this. So i wasnt thinkin much and i just clicked update. Then I noticed that i need to download whole game.

After that when it start updating i looked into the game folder and there was nothing there. So there are only two opions one game didnt even started downloading steam showed that it is but nothing changed in folder and he was still empty two it downloaded game and then after i clicked updated it just deleted all stuff and start's to download it again. I think that option number one is right, even now when i am downloading game there is nothing in game folder.
